Celebrate
the Living
October 6, 2009 Albuquerque, NM – Arté de la Mano will host the 2nd Annual "Celebrate the Living" Campaign. Beginning October 1 through the morning of November 1, the salon will be collecting stuffed animals and soft toys to be given away to South Valley children during the Día de Los Muertos Marigold Parade on November 1, 2009. In exchange for each gently used stuffed animal or soft toy, participants will draw savings coupons of 10%-50% off their next service or Aveda products. Join pre-parade festivities from 12pm-2pm on November 1 at Arté de la Mano Aveda Salon, 3600 NM Hwy 528. Guests can enjoy face painting and refreshments prior to attending the parade.
"Día de Los Muertos is a time for us to gather and celebrate life by remembering and honoring the loved ones we have lost. It is also a perfect opportunity to give back to the communities we live in. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children when they receive a stuffed animal reminds us that every day is about living. What better way to honor our dead?" owner Monica M’Danat shares. "We support several community wide events each year to foster community and bring the focus back to healing ourselves and the earth."
Arté de la Mano is an Aveda Salon that believes in nurturing the body and soul. Talented stylists are available to provide all manner of salon and spa services, including massage and skin treatments. Owner Monica M’Danat believes all guests should be treated as family in a relaxed atmosphere with respect and abundant positive energy. Clients are invited to call Arté de la Mano Aveda Salon at 505/898-1105 to enquire about weekly specials and to make appointments.
